Meet Keith Hosman: Your RV Tank Cleaning Expert & Neighbor
(If you and your RV are currently 1 hr west of San Antonio)
Noted “people person” and TV writer in his younger years, Keith Hosman is also the author of a dozen horse-training books published in four languages. (This includes “What I’d Teach Your Horse” and “Your Foal,” two of the best-selling horse-training books of all time.) He also spent four years battling corporate idiocy at toy maker Mattel where—as theoretical “Producer” of all the boys’ websites—he was forced to endure endless, mind-numbing meetings. Additionally, he spent some thirty-odd years riding horses, spending roughly half that time as a professional trainer, teaching his clients to stay on their horses and conducting riding clinics in most of the US and Europe.
In 2024, in an effort to produce the strangest resume known to man, he decided to follow up sitcoms, horses, and website production with “fixing RVs.” Now a graduate of the National RV Training Academy (the “NRVTA”), he lives in the south-central Texas Hill Country, spending his days fixing water heaters and cleaning black tanks for his neighboring snow birds. His company, “Park and Purge,” has as its main focus the cleaning of RV holding tanks for one specific reason: It might be a bit stinky, but it’s also a whole lot easier than spending your days on the top of an RV in 100+ degree heat swapping out air conditioners, or replacing ginoromous refrigerators, or wrestling with recalcitrant slide-outs.
His current hobbies include learning to play the piano, complaining about the lack of grass in his pastures, and finding new and inventive ways to feed his horses and goats.
If you and your RV are currently west of San Antonio, Texas by about an hour—and suffering from a clogged drain or in need of a good tank cleaning—call, text, or email Keith. He’s your neighbor and he’s always happy to help!
